Programs
We provide a continuum of care featuring individualized therapeutic services designed to meet the needs of each and every child who comes to live at St. Jude’s Ranch.
Emergency Placement
We offer a safe haven for children in crisis. They have been removed from unsafe and abusive home environments and often come to us with only the clothes on their backs and their siblings. We work to stabilize them, address immediate needs and assess what their long-term needs are. Emergency Placement is available on the Boulder City and Bulverde Campuses. Emergency Shelter services are provided on the New Braunfels Campus.
Therapeutic Residential Foster Care
The program provides education and guidance on basic living skills like hygiene, cooking and cleaning skills as well as developing social skills and providing academic support and mentoring. Therapeutic Residential Foster Care is provided on our Boulder City and Bulverde Campuses.
Pregnant and Parenting Teen
The program prepares young moms for parenthood through a specially designed curriculum that focuses on educational achievement, life skills training, preventive education and parenting tools to help them make positive choices as they learn to balance school, work, and parenthood. The Pregnant and Parenting Teen program is provided on our Boulder City and New Braunfels Campuses.
Transitional Living
We work with youth ages 15 to 21 years old. In this therapeutic program teens are learning independent living skills to become productive, wage-earning members of the community. They are taught about subjects ranging from employment and college entry to banking and budgeting. The Transitional Living program is provided on our Boulder City Campus. Transitional Living services are provided on our Bulverde Campus.
Supportive Housing
Crossings, our supportive housing program, provides supportive housing to homeless young adults ages 18-25. A case manager will provide assistance to youth with their educational, employment and long-term housing plans. Crossings is located in Las Vegas, Nevada near the UNLV Campus.
Community Based Foster Care
The program is designed to build upon our Therapeutic Residential Foster Care program. As children become stabilized in therapeutic care, we can transition them into a more homelike environment living within a family setting out in the community. Community Based Foster Care homes are licensed and case-managed in both the Nevada and Texas Regions.
Sibling Preservation
Child Focus, our sibling preservation program works to preserve the sibling bonds of children separated within foster care. Through clinical case management, programming, sibling events and activities, Child Focus provides opportunities for children in foster care to heal, grow, and maintain their sibling bonds during this difficult chapter in their lives. Child Focus is located in the Nevada Region.
