Ben & Jerry’s 34th Annual “Free Cone Day” Features Local Celebrity Scoopers for Charity: Tuesday, April 3, 2012
Ben & Jerry’s, the company that broke the mold for businesses demonstrating you could make a profit while giving back to the community, will commemorate its 34th Annual “Free Cone Day” at Ben & Jerry’s Scoop Shops at the District at Green Valley Ranch and inside Sunset Station Hotel & Casino. The Scoop Shops enlist help from some of the city’s hottest entertainers who will scoop to benefit Lied Discovery Children’s Museum at the Sunset Station location and St. Jude’s Ranch for Children at The District location. All small cones are FREE with no purchase necessary but patrons are encouraged to make a donation to the store’s respective charity partners.
TCA 20th Annual Open Car Show: Saturday, April 21, 2012
Come join us in Boerne, TX for the 20th Anniversary of Texas Corvette Association’s Open Car Show. Hosted in the Main Square, this is one of the best car shows around! Featuring many unique cars – both classic and modern as well as customs – the event features a raffle, refreshments, vendors, music and more! Fun for the whole family. The TCA Car Show is also proud to be an official Fiesta event and the only Fiesta event outside of San Antonio, TX. The TCA’s dedicated members annually raise money through the car show to support the children that call The Ranch in Bulverde their home. We are grateful to the TCA’s efforts and thank them for the ongoing dedication and support of our children.

9th Annual Moms Rock Mother’s Day Tea: May 12, 2012 11:00 am – 1:30 pm
Celebrate the bonds of families and friendship at “MOMS ROCK,” the 9th Annual Mother’s Day Tea and Brunch benefitting Child Focus at St. Jude’s Ranch for Children. This year’s event will feature live entertainment, a hat parade, special activities for young “princesses and pirates,” a silent auction and raffle, and a special drawing for a mother/daughter diamond pendant designed exclusively for the event by MJ Christensen Jewelers. The Diamond Heart Award will also be presented to Diana Bennett, chief executive officer of Paragon Gaming, for her lifelong support of children and youth in southern Nevada.

For the Love of Kids and Harleys: September 2012
The 18th Annual for the Love of Kids and Harleys event benefiting the Texas campuses of St. Jude’s Ranch for Children is scheduled for September 2012 and Texas will be roaring with the sounds of Harley engines!! From the barbeque fixin’s to the lively dancing, the evening is loaded with festivities and features a live auction with Harley treasures and country music superstar, George Strait, as the auctioneer. Come on down, pull up a seat and help make this evening extra special for the amazing children here at St. Jude’s Ranch – you don’t want to miss it!

Wurstfest: November 2-11, 2012
A long standing tradition in New Braunfels, Texas, this is Oktoberfest – Texas style! Full of the German tradition, this event is one you won’t want to miss! St. Jude’s Ranch for Children receives a portion of the proceeds brought in by our food booth staffed by volunteers. Be sure to visit us for our incredible potato soup, kolaches and whoopie pies!!
